    Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next AtR Specialist!

     

    A Day In The Life Typically Includes

    • Play key role in setting up the Account to Report function in the Shared Service Center
    • Expert knowledge and understanding of costing model applied in Guardian
    • Ongoing cost model maintenance (changes of key drivers/rates/purchase prices)
    • Sales and profitability data calculation and validation
    • Journal calculation and bookings (incl. Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Work in Progress, Reserves (obsolescence, LCM)
    • Assist in Annual Operating Plan – resource cost and production parameters updates in the model
    • Process Fixed Assets related transactions (capitalizations, disposals, depreciation)
    • Support Fixed Assets reporting (CIP review, spend vs. budget)
    • Ensure strong internal controls are established and maintained in the AtR activities
    • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
    • Maintain, enforce and enhance Guardian’s Desktop Procedures, including streamlining and improving the quality of inputs to Shared Services Processes

     

    What You Will Need?

    • General knowledge of manufacturing plant costing practices and models
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and use technology to improve the efficiency of the team
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (advanced Excel is required)
    • Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
    • Resilient in a fast-paced, changing environment
    • Proven ability of implementing best practices in a shared services environment (experience in process improvement department considered as a plus)
    • Understanding and knowledge of glass manufacturing process is considered as a plus
