    Guardian Industries is seeking you to become our next Training Coordinator

     

    Responsibilities

     

    A Day In The Life Typically Includes

    • Exemplify and promote the Guiding Principles and MBM Culture
    • Develop, lead, and evaluate a comprehensive new team member training and essential skills program based on department specifications.
    • Provide mentoring and skill development for new employees.
    • Partner effectively and frequently with other departments and management to ensure training is up-to-date, authentic, and relevant.
    • Continue to develop and implement new hire advocacy program.
    • Provide subject matter expert training to equip internal facilitators and trainers.
    • Maintain training records.
    • Participate and lead projects as needed.
    • Support the Quality and Operations teams as needed.

     

    What You Will Need

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience in manufacturing (preferred automotive manufacturing)
    • Intermediate knowledge of training processes, such as adult learning theories and course development.
    • Effective facilitation skills, such as ability to facilitate open discussion in a less structured environment.
    • Effective class preparation skills with ability to analyze effectiveness of training and to independently implement, with guidance from the training supervisor, appropriate solutions without compromising course design and adult learning theory.
    • Ability to coach, mentor and provide effective feedback regarding performance.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated ability to interact well with personnel at all levels of the organization
    • Must be proactive, thorough, detail oriented, self-motivated, a strong team player, a strong communicator, flexible, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and someone who takes initiative.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project & Power Point)
    • Ability to stand or walk on concrete floor for 8+ hours
    • Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
    • Requires hand, arm, back, and leg strength; Also bending and squatting ability
    • Must have eye, foot, and hand coordination, and be able to do repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor manipulation
    • Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures & perform work indoors / outdoors as needed
    • Must have regular and predictable attendance
