    Moldflow Analyst



    SRG Global is seeking a Moldflow Analyst to join the engineering team at our World Headquarters in Troy, Michigan. This role will be responsible for providing moldflow analysis with specific application to the automotive market and will have strong interaction with cross-functional team members from Product Development, Tooling, Process Engineering, and the Innovation Engineering teams. Continuous improvement in moldflow process efficiency and application will be a focus, especially between regional engineering teams. 


    The ideal candidate will posses the skills and knowledge sought below, but will also be a self-starter, possess a positive attitude, and be a creative thinker. This is a "hands-on" position that will work across the organization in a fast-paced atmosphere and will create meaningful value for internal and external customers.  



    • Coordinate with global counterparts on the development and implementation
    • Document and manage material and correlation study database
    • Provide, distribute, and archive Moldflow, though PowerPoint, Excel, and MFR files
    • Improve and develop a robust Moldflow process that will clearly interface with all stake holders that drive executional excellence for launch expectations
    • Enable first time through design, tooling, and process accuracy
    • Drive real time physical correlation within our RJG capable SRG Global Advance Development Center
    • Develop standards that pertain to SRG Global decorative and manufacturing process
    • Responsible to report and maintain KPI expectations




    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering
    • Moldflow Specialist Certified (minimum Associate level)
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Moldflow Analysis
    • Master Molder training through RJG or equivalent (Preferred)
    • 6 Sigma trained, Black Belt (Preferred)


    • Demonstrates technical competence
    • Experienced in the ability to show correlation between analysis and molded product
    • Be capable to solve problems through root cause methods
    • Be capable to use all “3” meshing processes, pending on needs of the program
    • Have a strong understanding on how to isolate the contributors that cause dimensional, warpage, and cosmetic defects
    • Ability to use experience and judgment to plan and execute objectives and measurable in alignment with corporate goals and objectives
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of management
    • Strong analytical capability to support the development manufacturing, tooling and engineering needs
    • Ability to build internal and external relationships at all levels and departments
    • Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude and a strong desire to win
    • Highly organized, systematic approach to work
    • Professional and high integrity presence
