Molding/Tooling Launch Engineer
The Molding Tooling Launch Engineer will be responsible for advancing quality planning techniques, development strategy, and knowledge transfer during the mold, tool and development process while having a passion for customer focus and creating value through continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge sought below but, of equal importance, he or she will be self- motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be a creative thinker. This is a “hands-on” position that will work across the organization in a competitive atmosphere. Working and effectively leading flawless launch and interfacing with cross-functional teams at corporate and plant levels is crucial for success.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as concentrations, percentage, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
