Production Control & Inventory Specialist
The Production Control and Inventory Specialist is responsible for the application and deployment of the production inventory control systems. They will provide clear direction for both repetitive and non-repetitive Kanban through visual controls and effective management of inventory levels while overseeing the plant’s cycle counting program. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge, be self- motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be a creative thinker. This is a “hands-on” position that will work across the organization in a competitive atmosphere.

Education and/or experiience in Production Control/Industrial Technology or related field preferred. Excellent computer skills including solid familiarity with MS Office products.
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong computer and problem-solving skills a must. Strong Excel skills. Write business correspondence, procedures and processes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.

The employee is frequently required to stand and walk, use hands to finger dexterity, handle and feel, reach with arms and hands, and talk and hear.
The employee may be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch when on the production floor.
Work environment may include an office environment and working on the manufacturing production floor. Noise levels are moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those employees may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Working conditions in some areas require that personal protective equipment be worn including but not limited to steel toed shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves.
