    • CMM operator, coordinator, and programmer to ensure metrology needs are met for New Launch, Service and Mass Production


    • As CMM operator, duties may include, but are not limited to:


    • Develops and writes programs to check manufactured parts
    • Communicates inspection results to Production, Quality, Engineering, and CFT as it relates to SRG Global
    • Inspect, test, and measure products, components and materials equipment and hand gages
    • Conduct Gage R&R, and Annual validation
    • Complete new gage evaluation
    • Assure product quality and quality system compliance
    • Best practices for CMM, ex.: functionality and design review (this can include CFT with other plants and Troy, MI)
    • Report’s findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action
    • Review quality procedures, documents and records for completeness and accuracy
    • Ensure improvement actions and MSA with Gage R&R's
    • Responsible for all gage calibrations


    • Quality Engineer for Ripley Service business, both current and previous models


    • Quality Engineer for JK Wheel liner



    • As Quality Engineer, duties may include, but are not limited to:



    • Leads efforts to identify, develop and execute process improvements, focused on:         safety, quality, production, delivery, cost, customer needs - in an effort to create value for the long term
    • Serves as primary quality interface between customers, suppliers and plant operations to improve product quality (serves as both VOC and VOP)
    • Plans activities to ensure Quality standards are maintained and improved
    • Makes decisions in respect to quality standards for “Go and NOGO” situations and other duties required for the Ripley, TN Quality system
    • Compile inspection data accurately and monitors for trends that may lead to process improvement.
    • Follows the problem solving methodology, and leads root cause actions, including facilitating cross functional teams to improve quality concerns
    • Create and maintain PPAP packages – ensuring Control Plans, AAR, and inspection criteria guidelines are correct and properly communicated to manufacturing and management (This includes creating GP12 plans and exit criteria for GP12).
    • Assures customer specific requirements are reviewed and adhered to - example: Customer’s SQAM, specifications, prints, and standards.
    • Audits system to assure adherence to Quality manual and plant standards.
    • Helps support plant and quality department target, goals and Budget
    • Complies with miscellaneous assignments as directed by supervisor and plant management
    • Works with all departments and assures effective teamwork, especially in advancing the MBM culture (includes following the Guiding Principles and the vision framework)

    Experience with Quality Engineering with emphasis in Automative OEM's

    Bachelor Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (not a must but preferred)
