    We are seeking a Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics in our Procurement Center of Excellence. This person will be responsible for business analysis, coordinating reporting requirements and developing an analytics team to support a $3.0 billion Global Procurement organization.

    Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities:

    • Provide complex business analysis (including Commercial Evaluations, Spend Analysis, Market Analysis, Commodity Analysis, Bid evaluations,) to Category Managers for strategic decision making
    • Work with category managers and operating sites on facilitating various projects and strategic initiatives
    • Demonstrate the Skills and Knowledge to establish and manage timelines, project priorities, and handle multiple/concurrent projects
    • Establish a collaborative working relationship with the Guardian and Koch Industries capabilities and peers to leverage skillsets and knowledge sharing
    • Lead data visualization and reporting so external customers can quickly understand the value proposition and the relationship to financial statements
    • Select, utilize and monitor analytical software tools that can be leveraged within Guardian and Koch.
    • Champion Master Data Management design for the procurement organization.
    • Talent development – create an environment in which team members are lifelong learners and help others succeed.

     

    Key Requirements

    • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in any of the following areas:
      • Data Science/Analytics/Statistics
      • Financial Analysis, Consolidation and Reporting
      • Procurement and / or Operations experience (in field, in plant)
      • Technical experience (engineering, six-sigma, program management)

     

    • Bachelor Degree or higher in a finance, engineering or data science field of study
    • Advanced experience with Microsoft O365 core suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
    • Business Intelligence software experience such as PowerBI, COGNOS, Qlik, Tableau, Alteryx

     

    Preferred Requirements

    • Previous business analysis experience
    • Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing experience
    • Experience with eSourcing or similar system
    • Experience with multiple ERP systems
    • Experience with Machine learning
    • Experience with programing languages – Python, R, SQL
    • Manufacturing Experience
    • Experience working with and developing large multi-national businesses and teams
