    Responsibilities

    The Warehouse Manager position supports the business. The focus of the Warehouse Manager is to coordinate day-to-day activities in receipt, storage, internal movement, packaging, and shipment of goods to maximize utilization of facilities and resources. The position has direct supervisory responsibility over warehouse personnel.

     

    Responsibilities & Expectations

    • Directs all warehouse operations such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
    • Manages purchases of all plant purchased materials and coordination with suppliers and ensures adequate on-hand inventory levels to support production.
    • Works with production, quality, supply chain, etc. to ensure coordination of warehouse activities.
    • Assures products, parts, or supplies are shipped, distributed, or received in an efficient manner and according to prescribed quality levels.
    • Evaluates physical condition of warehouse and equipment and prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
    • Takes precautions to secure warehouse contents against loss and manages salvage of damaged or used material.
    • Direct supervisory responsibility for warehouse personnel, including shipping clerks, material handlers, packing, etc.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Proficient in MS Office, with specific focus in excel
    • Strong project management and task management skills
    • Self-starter and self-direction is critical to this role
    • Fluent English

    Preferred Skills

    • Strong analytical and data mining skills
    • Experience in ERP systems and materials management systems
