    We are currently recruiting for a dynamic Plant Manager to lead our UK based operations based in East Yorkshire. The successful candidate will report into the Director of European Operations and will be responsible for the Health & Safety performance of the facility along with leading the advancement of our Company culture.

    Responsibilities


    • The individual will be accountable for all aspects of plant performance including the P&L and ensuring that the plant operates in compliance with any permit and statutory rules.

    • The role is also responsible for ensuring that the targets of the facility are met in a cost effective manner.

    • The role will lead, guide and develop the plant leadership team which is made up of leaders from production, Engineering, Quality, EH&S and Supply Chain. In addition, the role will need to work closely with other capabilities within the organisation including Finance, HR and Commercial to succeed in the delivery of the strategic objectives.

    • The role will also oversee a range of operational project activities including continuous improvement and capital expenditure to ensure effective delivery and minimise operational disruption.

    • They will also be responsible for determine the best way for the operational resources of the business to deal with current and medium-term business needs.  


    Qualifications:


     


    The successful candidate will have:



    • Degree qualified in an Engineering or relevant discipline 

    • Extensive experience with senior management within manufacturing of sites 100+, desirably as the plant manager

    • Be a proven leader, who has operated as part of a strategic team responsible for the development and delivery of a business plan 

    • Have proven experience in the development of team members

    • Experience of leading organisations through transformational change

    • Proven experience of leading continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives

    • Strong financial and business acumen

    • The ability to communicate effectively to lead and drive change
