    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    Product Strategy & Development

    • Identifies opportunities for new products and services based upon market research, the region’s PoV, understanding of market needs, competitive trends and customer feedback
    • Owns the region’s new product development process by providing or coordinating all necessary inputs during stage gate process
    • Engages Science & Technology to coordinate and drive new product development activities that support Regional market strategies
    • Establishes initial selling price for new products and works with Sales to ensure the region’s pricing strategy is consistent and delivers the highest value

    Segmentation

    • Responsible for developing and refining customer segmentation based upon buying behavior and needs for each level of customers in our various value chains
    • Understands segment trends, competitive landscape and legislative trends. Synthesizes this information to improve and/or develop new products
    • Assesses and sets priorities for profitability improvement projects.
    • Identifies and communicates prioritized list of opportunities for improving product line VCM, including product rationalization, product enhancements, cost reduction or price modifications
    • Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. Implement a customer value proposition model based on market/customer segmentation.
    • Analyzing and defining the marketing strategy for GGL Products and selecting market segments or sub-segments to target. Develop a deeper market understanding of our market sub-segments.

    Content Management & Value Proposition

    • Leads the development of unique value propositions for al target customer segments. Defines the overall offer (product, service, information, etc.) necessary to deliver each value proposition
    • Communicate, develop and train the sales team/customers on selling tools that includes Guardian Analytics, marketing collateral, sales presentations.
    • The messaging and value proposition system are created by product marketing and then used by the creative team and field teams
    • Create a customer feedback mechanism to communicate customer insights (service, product, pricing, etc.) to the organization
    • Customer satisfaction survey - Conduct customer interviews across our value chain and identify trends and unmet needs.

    Regulatory Marketing

    • Participate with Authorities like BIS, NBC, ECBC to develop Codes.
    • Work with GRIHA, IGBC, USGBC to promote coated glass use in Green Buildings.
    • Work Closely with associations like GSI, CCPS, AIGMF to promote usage of Glass.

    Team

    • Interact closely with regional , sales, operations, customers, plant and functional leaders to ensure customer requirements are being met.
    • Part of the Marketing Team.
    • Provide the necessary leadership and direction to integrate continuous improvement in all areas of the Marketing.
    • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the Marketing function and process.
    • Resolve customer complaints/issues (internal and external); using them as an opportunity to understand the true root cause and develop a plan to resolve the root cause.

     

     

     Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Master’s degree in Business Management- Marketing preferred
    • Minimum experience of 5 years in Marketing Field.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create partnerships, and resolve conflict between work teams.
    • Strong computer, Writing and analytical skills.
    • Must thoroughly understand all critical aspects of Marketing, Sales and operations and be able to work effectively with team members and outside firms.
