    Guardian Industries is adding a HR Business Partner to be based out of our world headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI...!

    Responsibilities include:

    • Bring vision and focus to the priorities that align with the greatest needs of the business; Be aware of the issues and challenges facing the company
    • Proactively coach leaders to motivate teams and drive results through the disciplined application of MBM (Market Based Management) business model as our way of doing business
    • Constructively challenge situations and behaviors that are not consistent with our Guiding Principles and, by extension, the Code of Conduct
    • Be “forward thinking” to anticipate needs and issues before they arise
    • Provide strategic guidance to leaders in areas of change management and employee development with a keen focus on individual performance development and strategic talent development
    • Foster and maintain a positive work environment for all employees
    • Successfully address employee relations matters developing within facility 
    • Cultivate a “one team on the field” environment
    • Courageously and curiously seek the best knowledge (internal and external) to continuously improve and innovate

     Qualifications and Characteristics:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline
    • 5-10 years experience working as a hands-on HR partner for multiple functional groups (i.e. Finance, Legal, Engineering)
    • Self-motivated to define and drive continuous improvement of processes
    • Track record of success coaching leaders/employees and driving talent initiatives
    • Excellent communication skills, initiative and personal accountability
    • Compliance and Code of Conduct mindset
