    For our Goole site, we are looking for a Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer. Reporting to the Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager, the role sits within the Quality and Continuous Improvement team. With an opportunity to add value and deliver results from day one, the focus of the role will be on supporting the implementation and maintenance of the company’s quality management system, and supporting the identification and implementation of projects in support of the plant-wide adoption of continuous improvement methodologies.


    • Supporting the sales and operations teams in delivering the expected customer service levels, in particular the prompt and satisfactory resolution of customer quality complaints
    • Facilitating problem solving and root cause analysis for quality issues using tools such as 8D Problem Solving
    • Supporting operations in the identification and mitigation of risks to quality using tools such as FMEA
    • Managing the quality management system software to ensure the control of documents
    • Coordinating and conducting audits in accordance with the audit schedule and ensuring that any adverse findings are resolved in a timely manner
    • Supporting supplier evaluation processes
    • Supporting the training and development of employees across the business to enable and encourage a culture of quality, and providing guidance and assistance on quality matters
    • Facilitating the introduction of continuous improvement methodologies to the organisation, identifying and removing barriers to change
    • Working with the production teams to analyse and improve current processes and procedures through the application of continuous improvement methodologies
    • Developing and maintaining measures of the success of changes implemented
    • Engaging the workforce at all levels to gain commitment and understanding of the business changes, primarily within the manufacturing arena
    • Supporting the training and development of employees across the business to enable and encourage a culture of continuous improvement



    • A degree in a science, technology or engineering subject
    • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment
    • Extensive knowledge of quality tools/techniques and/or continuous improvement methodologies (a background in either quality or continuous improvement is acceptable, experience of both is not a requirement)
    • More than two years post-degree work experience in a quality or continuous improvement role
    • Highly motivated and driven, passionate about delivering exceptional results
    • Ability to prioritise and work proactively
    • Evidence of strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to drive and effectively deliver change, creating sustainable results
    • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and relationship building skills at all organisational levels
    • Excellent coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly, to varied audiences
    • Confident in the use of IT packages
