     For our location in Czestochowa, Poland, we are looking to hire for an immediate start a Process Engineer for Coater Laboratory 

    Responsibilities

    • Providing statistics and information enabling product maintaining in specification and in full compliance with the CE marking values:
      • Preparation of reports for the technologist enabling them to correct the product,
      • Conducting a corrective action plan in case of deviations from certified values,
      • Keeping statistics for external supervision institutions (IFT, CEKAL, etc.),
      • Updating certified values ​​and product specifications,
    • Quality control of coated glass:
      • Creating reports and completing statistical data,
      • Management of the sample collection,
    • Active participation in audits conducted by IFT, CEKAL and ISO.
    • Ensuring proper operation of devices used to control the quality of coated glass (also working outside the quality control laboratory), calibration of them
      • Laboratory + QC equipment service
      • Repair of equipment - commissioning of works and acceptance of works. (training, inspection of service work), shipment of the device for service.
    • Active participation in measurement harmonization projects (emission measurement):
      • Making measurements and presenting statistics,
    • Evaluating measurement methods, creating documentation:
      • Support for implementation projects of new coatings,
      • Creating lists supporting the technological department

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Master of Science or bachelor degree in Glass and Ceramics, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics,
    • Experience as technologist /process engineer will be additional advantage,
    • Fluent in English,
    • Knowledge of production processes ,
    • Work experience in analytics and software tools (MS office package, MS SQL),
    • High analytic thinking skills,
    • Experience in projects run with the team (project target definition, action plan and schedule creation, reporting the project status and findings),
    • High degree of safety awareness and understanding of safety rules and regulations

    Ability to:

    • Communicate effectively (verbal & written) within the department, plant and regional organizations,
    • Readiness for 8 working hours when needed (trouble shooting, challenging product setups, development)
    • Travel International when needed (shorter or longer no more than once a month)
    • Initiative and ability to work in a team
