    Guardian Industries, LLC is seeking an early bird, experienced Administrative Assistant at their world headquarters located in Auburn Hills, Michigan.  This opportunity also will require working in a cooperative manner with the other Executive Administrative Assistants in the building. 



    • Calendar management 
    • Manage phone, email and written communications
    • Arrange business travel, schedule meetings and attendant logistics for both international and domestic travel
    • Compile expense reports, departmental spending reports, etc.
    • Maintain both paper and electronic files
    • Manage vendor invoices using the company’s procurement system
    • Coordinate and plan events off-site
    • Create and prep agendas for leaders 
    • Create and distribute employee notifications






    The ideal candidate will be exceedingly well organized, attentive to detail, proactive in establishing useful processes and procedures, and customer focused.  The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining even tempered, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and utmost sensitivity to confidential information, is required.  The qualified candidate will also possess the following:


    • Minimum 3 years of executive administrative support experience; BS/AS degree preferred
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office®, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Experience working in an expense management system
    • Problem solving IT issues that may come up
    • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
    • Ability to problem solve and take initiative  
    • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent calendar management
    • Experience organizing high level meetings and large-scale events
    • Ability to manage small projects independently
    • Ability to work well both independently and in a group environment
    • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting demands and priorities and act independently
    • Ability to connect and communicate with people from different cultures around the world
