  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management
  • 5 plus years’ experience in supply chain management
  • Detailed knowledge of freight management
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent excel skills
  • P.I.C.S. certification a plus



  • Develop inventory control policies that support FIFO and cycle count accuracy while ensuring plant systems are up to date.
  • Develop and maintain the capacity planning process that allows for future visibility of throughput and finished goods in the warehouse.
  • Ensure warehouse operation supports OTIF and service level goals.
  • Understand freight cost and monitor performance to plan. Ensure plant and customer service are aware of impact of freight options and carrier capabilities.
  • Manage Shipping Supervisors and Dock Scheduler to ensure daily duties are completed and in compliance.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements & environmental standards.
  • Improve internal process to reduce breakage costs and customer credits.
  • Determine best solution for long-term sustainable improvements in rack management.
  • Develop and maintain rack preparation, packaging and material handling processes and procedures that increase quality, consistency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure ongoing and effective communication with customer services, on delivery and transportation details for the sales team.
  • Develop and implement training and development plans for each supply chain employee.
  • Collaborate with regional supply chain and other plant functions to identify current and potential operational improvements and issues and agree resolutions.
  • Implement and maintain the process for managing the product flow through the warehouse to optimize space and increase efficiency of material handling equipment.
