    To strengthen our team, we are looking for a European Lead Buyer for Raw Materials (m/f) to start as soon as possible.


    • Responsible for the purchasing strategy of Raw Material Category
    • Build up an effective and sustainable interaction between internal customers, suppliers and category managers
    • Identify and Anticipate risk management
    • Optimize and Ease interaction between all the stakeholder
    • Reveal and Standardize best practices between all the plant
    • Manage local/regional tenders, negotiations and contracts



    • Provide the most effective support to all the stakeholder
    • Champion and Implement category manager’s strategy
    • Manage suppliers to ensure timely supply chain processes to meet customer satisfaction and cost efficiency demands
    • Insure the transition during the business transformation between local and regional
    • Troubleshooting and support purchase requisition
    • Impulse and manage possibly development activities with the cross functional groups
    • Apply compliance and safety enhancements with all our stakeholder
    • Challenge Category Manager with innovative and creative proposals
    • Reporting and KPI’s follow up (savings, cost improvement)
    • Source, assess and develop the regional sourcing
    • Launch, follow up and completion of tenders
    • Assess total cost of ownership and total batch cost / ton
    • Market intelligence
    • 50% travel across Europe 



    • Economic or foreign trade degree
    • Fluent English language
    • Procurement experience
    • Negotiation skills
    • Strategic Thinking
    • Result Orientation

    • Negotiation skills

    • User-level IT knowledge (MS Office, integrated systems)
