Guardian Business Solutions in Katowice is looking for an Accounting Systems Super User who supports a wide range of professional users of accounting systems and sub-systems, implement systems enhancement functionalities, creates standard accounting reports to support month-end activities, monitors systems set-ups and alignment with internal controls. This role reports to the Finance Systems and Process Improvement Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Take-over our Accounting Systems administration and maintenance activities (incl. System updates on GL, ABC’s, Cost Centers),
  • Support Systems migration activities in new business unit creations,
  • Accounting Systems access right management,
  • Building and standardization of accounting reports to ensure best practices sharing and integrity of reporting,
  • Troubleshooting of Accounting Systems reporting tools,
  • Participate in Systems Implementation Projects,
  • Providing System trainings to end users when required,
  • Ensure core internal controls for accounting areas in systems are maintained,
  • Ensure appropriate level of process documentation is created and maintained,
  • Proactive outlook for improvements to the current systems,
  • First point of contact in case of support

 

Qualifications: 

  • Ideal candidate would have Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting,
  • Ideal candidate would have 2+ years of relevant and similar experience in accounting department or as system implementation business analyst with accounting background, experience in shared service center considered as an asset,
  • Ability to travel (up to 15%),
  • Fluent written and spoken English,
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
  • Exposure to any Infor Suite Systems considered as an asset,
  • Experience with workflow solutions,
  • Flexibility and good interpersonal skills,
  • Good organizational skills,
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and use technology to improve the efficiency,
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and attention to details.
