We are currently looking for a Human Resources Generalist for our corporate headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. The Human Resources Generalist will be accountable for the HR processes that guide employee’s experience related to Guardian. We aim to hire an individual who is highly motivated and energetic, confident yet humble, socially agile, and a team player.



Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Actively participate in the employment lifecycle, including interviewing candidates utilizing behavior-based interview techniques, preparing offer letters, on-boarding new hires, as well as conducting exit interviews.
  • Interact frequently with employees and effectively address, document and monitor all employee relations issues
  • Ensure professional development of employees and managers at corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities through in-depth training on company policies and other topics aligned to business strategy
  • Coordinate and facilitate building activities and communication meetings, and present general HR information at building functions
  • Manage HR employee data within payroll system, including transfers, new hires, terminations, salary modifications, etc.
  • Keep employee records and files up to date and in compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality while working with sensitive health, salary, and employment information
  • Other HR Projects related to the facilitation of company culture and employee engagement


The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others via strong relationships and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience presenting in public
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience building relationships with diverse groups of people at all levels of the organization
