We are presently recruiting for Plant Supply-Chain Manager, who will thrive in our culture. This position will be located at our Carleton, MI Float Glass facility.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all plant logistics (internal and external), both daily operations and optimization, to an evolving business. The expectation is that all customer’s (internal or external) needs and requirements are met. This includes accountability for the warehouse layout, warehouse flow, shipping planning-execution-efficiency, production planning & scheduling, procurement, material handling, and inventory management; while optimizing the level of resources needed (inventory, capacity and costs). He/She understands the role/impact of the plant within the Guardian global Supply Chain and is attached to a constant integration of customer focus both internally and externally.
