Quality Assurance Specialist

Support plans to coordinate and maintain the quality assurance program to ensure consistent production of product in accordance to procedures and industry standards.

Essential Functions:

Managing the Corporate Quality Program        

  • Handles Document Control of all documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing process.
  • Supported activities such as data collection, complaint investigations, audit participation and follow up.
  • Complete periodic document reviews.
  • Maintaining measurement tool sign out logs, Update and maintain nonconformance area log sheet and Coordinate program for samples.

Testing & Inspections

  • Support analysis and ensures containment of non-conforming material.
  • Managed the Certificate of Destruction and Material Removal Process to prevent the distribution and usage of product that did not conform to standards or materials that were obsolete or expired.
  • Incoming Inspection measurement evaluations and trend reporting
  • Perform routine production, travelers and tool audits
  • Does all other duties as assigned


Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent technical certification
  • Minimum 1-2 years related experience
  • Experience with ISO 9001/TS-16949 Compliance
  • Knowledge of Control Plans, 5 Whys and problem solving methodology
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to perform complex mathematical operations. Understanding of various measuring systems and capability of performing conversion
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations
