Treasury Back Office



Based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Guardian Industries (“Guardian”) is a diversified, global company with a vision to create value for customers and society through constant innovation using fewer resources. Guardian is actively searching for strong candidates to support its global treasury operations. The position is located in Guardian’s shared service center in Katowice, Poland and will collaborate closely with Guardian’s treasury centers in the United States and Luxembourg.




Cash management

  • Ensure daily bank statements are promptly and accurately integrated into the Treasury Management System (“TMS”)
  • Accurately create, reconcile, review and integrate cash forecasts
  • Accurately prepare daily cash position in TMS
  • Initiate treasury transfers and ensure timely execution of those transfers
  • Match deal tickets with TMS records (e.g., FX, investments, etc.) and prepare deal confirmations
  • Contribute to the creation, documentation and improvement of Treasury processes and procedures


Electronic banking system (“EBS”) management and administration

    • Ensure proper understanding of the functionalities of Guardian’s various EBSs
    • Grant user access, create user credentials and manage user entitlements to effectively maintain proper segregation of duties

  • Maintain and update systems


Treasury documentation and reporting

  • Manage all documentation related to treasury activities (e.g., bank accounts, cash pooling agreements, dealing mandates, etc.)
  • Accurately prepare and review various management reports (e.g. risk management, guarantees, intercompany loans, bank fees, etc.)
  • Respond to information requests in support of other Guardian capabilities (e.g., accounting, tax, finance)


Treasury compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., FATCA, EMIR, KYC, FBAR, etc.)



  • Two to three years of experience in a similar position within a multinational environment
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Hands on approach and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to operate in a deadline driven environment, prioritize projects and work independently
  • Exceptional user of Microsoft Office products
