Overview

Guardian Glass is Guardian’s largest business and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of float, value-added and fabricated glass products and solutions. At our 25 float plants located around the globe, Guardian Glass produces high performance glass for architectural, residential, interior, transportation and technical glass applications. 

 

Working as part of the Senior Leadership team this role will manage the Inside Sales team based at our Goole site as well as support the business decisions of the management team. The inside sales team deal with a broad variety of customer issues and work closely with the external sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Involvement and accountability in leadership decisions
  • Manage the inside sales team of 6 people
  • Identify and implement improvements in the sales process and customer experience
  • Report on sales metrics
  • Prepare monthly forecasts/sales reports
  • Monitor customer feedback and help resolve complaints
  • Working with the wider Inside Sales team across Europe on improvement projects design to drive the customer focus of the business
  • Involvement in the claims handling and customer service improvements for the business
  • Implement price increases
  • Conduct benchmarking and work towards recognition from awarding bodies

 

Qualifications:

  • Customer Service/Inside sales experience
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Proven track record in Customer Service role
  • Good level of education - degree preferable
  • Drive for continuous improvement
  • Proven track record of implementing change successfully
  • Flexibility, adaptability to change
